AI-region

Brainport Industries is one of 36 participants in the European AI region project. This is a Horizon 2020 project within the framework of regions and Digital Innovation Hubs. The 36 cooperating parties form an alliance to transform the AI (Artificial Intelligence)-driven digital transformation of European SMEs.

Part of the project is the Brainport region Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) experiment which aims to demonstrate an AI-based hololens (AR) in assembly and operator support systems. The main idea of the experiment is to demonstrate the use of an AI-based hololens that support operators in assembling high mix, low volume, high complexity modules while meeting product and production requirements. In this experiment Brainport Industries and Brainport Development work together.
