Founded in 1891, Philips laid the basis for the Brainport Eindhoven region as we know it today. The company developed from a light bulb factory to the healthcare technology company of today, with a purpose to improve people’s health and well-being through meaningful innovation.

Philips has two main locations in the Brainport region: some 8,000 people work at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven and the Best Campus, on research & development, manufacturing, and supporting functions.
